Students at South Spencer High School have been accomplishing agreat deal.  This is especially true of the technology education program inschool and the Motorsports Program out of school.  South Spencer Motorsports began in 2003, with the South Spencer
Super Mileage Team and has expanded to also include High School Formula One, Southwestern Indiana STEM Challenge,​and South Spencer Rebel Robotics.

Robotics 

 In Robotics the members design, build, program, and operate robots of their own design to play a floor game in an alliance format. ​

​​Formula One 
In Formula One the members build a vehicle for speed and performance.

​Super Mileage 

Super Mileage involves  team members designing a  vehicle for fuel efficiency.

STEM
The STEM Challenge consist of eight different, hands-on, quiz bowl style competitions.
